Birdhaven Cottage

Built with bird watchers in mind, the cottage is nestled into the bush, with a bird attracting pond at the end of a deck that looks out over a steep rainforest gully with some views towards Mount Lewis.

The cottage has a generous sized bedroom with a queen bed and in the living room there is also the option of a double sofa bed, so the cottage can host up to four people, but ideally is designed for two people. The kitchenette has everything needed for cooking, with guests only needing to bring their food supplies.

Julatten has an almost perfect climate all year round, but the cottage has a reverse cycle split air-conditioning system, to quickly get the temperature in the cottage comfortable for our guests.
There is a wall-mounted smart TV with Blu-ray disc player along with free WiFi access, allowing a connection to the outside world.

​The buff breasted paradise kingfisher is resident from November to April, but just sitting on the deck, guests will see dozens of bird species.
